About Me

I am mother, a wife and friend to lots of women and my journey to get here has been a winding one.

In brief, I trained in England at The Guildhall School to be an actress, I did that for 10 years, traveling through various countries with various theatre companies, I had my own theatre company that went to India (I am really proud of that!) see pages 44 and 45 in The Lovely Book, this is my moment to boast!

OK here goes….I moved to South Africa and worked in the art department in the film business, prior to that I wrote The South African Illustrated Cookbook which is a best seller and I am really really proud of that.

But the thing that I am most proud of is my family, I have 4 year old identical twin daughters and a 20 month old son, they are the best achievement ever. I can’t claim all the glory for them and here I acknowledge my wonderful husband.

He comes in to this as he is my biggest support and inspiration. I am based in a small town which is 2 hours outside of Cape Town, South Africa.
